Grapefruit & Lemon Shampoo Bar for oily hair types with Grapeseed, Rosehip & Bamboo Extracts. People often think that oily hair/scalps need stronger cleansing, however, the more we strip our scalp from natural oil (sebum) the more it tends to produce! This shampoo bar gently cleanses your hair and scalp and uses ingredients that aid in balancing your sebum production.
pH balanced therefore no acid rinse or transition period is required as you would get with soap based shampoo bars.
Ingredients properties:
Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate (SCI) & Cocamidopropyl Betaine are mild, gentle surfactants to cleanse and provide foamy lather! We do not use harsh surfactants, like SCS, in our bars.
BTMS 50 (behentrimonium methosulfate, cetyl alcohol & butylene glycolis) is a conditioning agent. It is neither a sulfate or alcohol! Leaves hair soft, silky and easy to comb.
Cocoa Butter is nourishing & great for combating frizz & damage.
Cetyl Alcohol is commonly confused with alcohol, however, on the contrary, cetyl Alcohol is skin-friendly with hydrating and softening properties that benefit both skin and hair.
Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein restores damaged hair.
Panthenol (Provitamin B5) protects hair from styling and environmental damage by locking in moisture, whilst adding bounce & shine.
Plantaserve E is a preservative added as a safety requirement to keep you safe from mold and bacteria.
Grapeseed Fruit Extract for healthier hair follicles.
Bamboo Extract is full of natural silica. Silica is a mineral that helps your hair to strengthen, and restore its elasticity.
Rosehip Extract is rich in minerals to nourish hair.
Grapefruit & Lemon Essential Oils can help to remove dirt, bacteria and sebum that accumulates on the scalp. Assisting to rebalance the production of oils.
